@sprocket It doesn't travel well; in the UK flapjacks are entirely different things - lovely oat and syrup chewy erm things, more of a thick cookie 🙂

@penguin42 y'all also have funny names for French fries, potato chips, eggplants, zucchini, shrimp and prawns (not the same thing here), cotton candy, cookies and biscuits (not the same thing here), grilled cheese, and so on

My breakfast of choice: grits with a slab of melted butter, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, Texas toast and prickly pear jelly, scrambled eggs with chorizo and bell pepper mixed in, and several slices of bacon, with a large coffee, black.

@sprocket Toast is easy; I don't think anyone would know what refried beans were; still, I should say that a 'Full English' is still the same food groups (but less spicy): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Full_breakfast
