Do I know any message format experts?

Using I can get 256 bytes with multiple messages inside, e.g. for 2 instruments simultaneously playing a note.

The CoreMIDI "MIDI Packet" contains e.g. messages with 1 status byte and 2 data bytes for one message,
followed by multiple bytes that are 0x0 zero,
followed by 0x48 or 0b01001000 -- aka a data byte (highest bit is 0), but there is no status byte before that.

I can't make sense of these non-zero non-status bytes

@ctietze What does length say?

@teilweise ugh that's not part of the log, good point though -- maybe a lot of the available bytes in the tuple are just garbage. Will check that out.

I'm pretty sure that after the gap of 0x0's there's a triple of status plus data bytes that's interesting again, not just the very beginning of the packet.
