@acute_distress , haha, if they really wanted to fight retail crime they'd lower their prices.
But now they appoint themselves as judge and jury and condemn some people to starvation.
@acute_distress yet I 'stole' some eggs from a supermarket, an accidental self scanning fail not noticed until got home. Went back next time I passed, presented the no eggs receipt and photo of the eggs, and had to argue to get them to take the payment...
@Tooden@acute_distress This is ineffective. People here wear masks much of the time and yet the surveillance systems can still track them (and have been able to do so for over three years).
It is dangerous to be this uninformed of surveillance technology if you're trying to avoid it.
