zpool create -o ashift=9 usb mirror /dev/USBstick1 /dev/USBstick2

(ashift9=512B)

zpool set autotrim=on
zfs set atime=off
zfs set primarycache=metadata
zfs set secondarycache=none
zfs set compression=zstd

…those are 64G SanDisk USB3 gen1 sticks, on a USB3 hub, via the single USB3 port of a #Dell #Wyse3040 (Atom Z8350, 2G RAM, 8G eMMC)

…i intend to relocate a whole bunch of stuff in the FS tree over
