Take a look at the 2nd screenshot: you will see NetBSD tries an ipv6 address before switching back to ipv4 once it hits a timeout. Which is fine, except there is no obvious way to disable ipv6 anywhere in NetBSD. And I have searched for a solution! Conversely, #OpenBSD is as smooth as a cold glass of water in a heatwave. DHCP does not provide ipv6? Disable it!
