While waiting for new episodes of “In Blossom”, I decided to try this short drama: Secrets of the Shadow Sect with Lin Zehui and Hu Yiyao 🌸 The plot is not nuanced but the relationship between the main leads is good enough to hook my interest.
@liztai That’s a good plan! I’ve just watched a bit of the first episode of “Guess Who I Am” and it’s fun. Wang Ziqi and Zhang Yuxi have good chemistry. The plot is silly, though, but that is hardly the point 😄
@liztai At 60% you are further than me 😄 I never jumped on the bandwagon so I’m thinking that I’ll wait until season 2 is released and then watch them in succession. Save myself the heartache of the cliffhanger ending that has been talked about so much.
@Sollenbum Haha thanks for the reminder. i need to slow down then lolz. Maybe go back to Sunrise on the River. It's pretty good, just not cracktastic (meaning no hawt men lol) as In Blossom. Maybe a rewatch of Sword and Brocade is also in order. Was just watching the infamous kissing scene. SIGH SWOON
