I agree there is a disadvantage.

I’ve been putting up digital #PosterArt for a couple weeks and I think one reason people keep engaging is the novelty.

Nobody else in their social network is being creative about saying the Quiet Part Out Loud™ in a mildly irreverent and somewhat entertaining way.

In the boring banality of evil, just being different is an executable strategy.

I was trying to do some pro-trans propaganda on Facebook last year and just ended up feeling gross. But I did have a meaningful exchange with one acquaintance who reconsidered her church’s BS as a result
