There’s a lot more work to do, but we know exactly what it will take to get it done. Too many Americans are still facing high prices at the grocery store, increased housing costs, and struggles to cover health care. The financial impacts of a global pandemic are still falling on the shoulders of too many of us—but we have the tools to fix it.
If we win this year, we can build an economy that works for the working class instead of protecting billionaires and big corporations. We can prioritize supporting families and workers by making the wealthiest individuals and largest companies pay their fair share. We can invest in our communities and build a comprehensive social safety net so nobody faces financial hardship through no fault of their own.
We can extend legal protections to all workers, guarantee affordable housing, expand access to family and dependent care, and remove economic barriers for people of color, women, and LGBTQ people.
