mjgardner, 4 months ago @jacobydave What @KevinMarks means is that the #ActivityStreams spec for content exchanged via #ActivityPub across the #fediverse supports #HTML payloads (https://www.w3.org/TR/activitystreams-vocabulary/#dfn-content) and #Mastodon will render them, but the latter only takes strings when posting (https://docs.joinmastodon.org/methods/statuses/#form-data-parameters).
