Indiana Beach. Yes, I know it is a shithole. But I went to high school up in Monticello. Great place to be a teenager. Lakes, summer jobs at the amusement park, and I could get anywhere in the small town on my moped. Good memories of sticking around Indiana Beach after closing time and having my buddies from the pizza shop bring pies to the arcade, where other guys would open up the machines and we would play Mortal Combat for hours.

My list will be long, but I'm starting with the humble tenderloin!
In my experience the best places to get a good #tenderloin are not upscale places but are the weird local hole-in-the-walls. Too many places try to fancy it up. I love the one at the Steer-In.
I low-key love how many towns with a European name s are almost purposefully mispronounced and how you will be in deep trouble if you say it the wrong way.
For awhile I lived in Milan (My-len) and taught high school in Versailles (Ver-sales).
