@CosmicTrigger I know Richard Jonckheere since 1986 and I can tell you that Front 242 did not use any software in their early years, only rhythm boxes, a (hardware) sequencer and analogical or frequency modulation synthesisers. Also, why only giving respect to difficult task? Music making can be made easy or difficult, one can have easy tools but just tools as band companions, etc. Easy or not it's the end results which matter and if the music pieces can mean something to an audience, regardless of its demographics, good so. Don't we -play- music? Do you only -play- games if there are efforts to provide and difficulties? I'm out of here, playing.
