@onepict Oops I ranted about this last night when I could've been checking this out haha. I'm after a Todon-type Pixelfed instance that is entirely bought in to the principles of the FediPact. If you have any intel, do feel free let me know, spoons permitting! (This sounds very much like a secret meeting of rebels: "Hey comrade, there's something going down...step inside" haha)
@MediaActivist Apparently pixelated.de is on the #fedipact , so the question is how many pixelfed instances either signed the pact or will block threads because threads already have broken the moderation policies for many instances.
We need to remember that Instagram already was a vehicle for hate.

@onepict Exactly. Even the fantastic FediPact site is not, apparently, an exhaustive list. And it can be exhausting (d'ya like what I did there?) to try and verify which instances are adherent to the principles of the pact - not to mention which will certainly keep their word.

@SallyStrange@onepict I was thinking of setting up a pixelfed server to add to my stable but the last time I tried it installing was a pain. I may look into it again now it seems more needed.
@RyunoKi@onepict@SallyStrange I tend to be a bit of a "paint by numbers" installer then work stuff out once it is working to make sure I have security settings etc correct before I go live.
For various reasons my servers are running on Debian while I am far more used to Arch (and the Arch Wiki) so I have a little extra hurdle to get over too.
