So far #CyberMonday has failed to entice me with any offers of a managed 10G switch with 4-8 10GBASE-T ports.
I don't want SFP+ ports. I'm not going to be equipped to replace all my Cat-6a with fiber any time soon. I don't want to buy several 10GBASE-T transceivers to stuff into SFP+ ports. I want an integrated product.
There aren't a lot of options available, and nothing in a managed switch.
@johnefrancis I haven't found an affordable switch with more than 2 10GbE ports either, unfortunately. About 18 months ago, I ended up getting a switch with 8x SFP+ ports and using a combination of DACs and cheap no-name transceivers, and it's been ... fine? Not ideal to have to buy a bunch of extra components, though.
It seems like there's no shortage of options with 2.5GbE ports and SFP+ ports, but nobody is selling a reasonably-priced 10GbE-native switch 😒
