I'm not into hip hop but what an album this is! I only discovered #Ren a year ago and the guy is a genius. It looks like he may have a number 1 album here, all created with a small budget and while he's having treatment for a long term health condition. No record company backing either, no promotional tour.

@sharongascoigne Yeah, I'm not traditionally a real/hip-hop fan, or even much pop, & yet I can get enough of Ren's music. Looking forward to his next album, since I believe he's going to lean into the Rock.
Super pleased he made number 1. Well deserved. So many true talents remain underground cult classics, but he's getting some time in the sun. Just fab.
