I disagree about feeling bad for punishing drivers for deviant behavior though. Let's just make it a reparation or something if that helps? There need to be consequences for anti-social driving, to protect the souls of those drivers and the bodies of the rest of us, and you can pay bounties for reporting their FTY or parking on a sidewalk etc so it will be swift and consistent social pressure. Yes most of the consequences should come from infrastructure, but yes and your mom finds out.
@enobacon my question after listening to this: What can be done about distracted driving? There’s no infrastructure that makes people put away their cell phones before getting behind the wheel.
