Piousunyn,

Neo-Nazis are worse then the original Nazis, because they are Republicans.

"...
The Nazi Party stood for the proposition that the benefits of life in Germany should be reserved for Germans alone.

Eighty years later there is once again an American political movement dedicated to the proposition that America should return to its white nationalist roots. We have witnessed a disquieting rash of anti-Semitic incidents and a Holocaust Remembrance statement issued by the White House that omits the Jews. There are new laws in many former Jim Crow states that limit access to the polls — laws that transparently target the black population, a disgraceful echo of a disgraceful American past.

"The Nazi Party stood for the proposition that the benefits of life in Germany should be reserved for Germans alone."

The Nazis stood for the proposition that those benefits should be reserved for a particular KIND of German.

And when our modern GOP fascists speak of the "real America," they's saying exactly the same thing.

It's just a question of whether they're also prepared to take it as far as the Nazis did.

ArenaCops,

@jobsboils @Piousunyn Some of their foot soldiers may certainly be ready to commit atrocities like the Nazis did, but signs of the "GOP" entity's leadership preparing for mass-extermination of racially targeted parts of the population are not visible.

Nonetheless currently there seems to be no parliamentary/congressional "Republican", who should be holding office, due to their evident disloyalty to the constitutional order & their unveiled rebellion against the authority of the United States.

jobsboils,

@ArenaCops @Piousunyn

The base is ready for genocide -- or close to it. So it's a question of how far the party "leadership" would go to pander to that demand if the party was able to take power by extra-constitutional means,

Right now, the pandering is purely rhetorical, but in a dictatorship it wouldn't have to stay that way.

Do you think Trump, Cruz, Hawley, Greene, et al. have a limit beyond which they wouldn't go?

LaNaehForaday,

@jobsboils

The thing "The Base" does not understand is that they would be the FIRST to go.
