@Teri_Kanefield I don't think other defendants saying they were directed by Trump is going to help as much as ordinary defendants blaming someone would. In the ordinary case, the head bank robber will deny he did it. In this case, I think Trump will admit it and say it was all okay. Unless the defendants, in pointing to Trump, identify something that Trump did that was clearly illegal, like knowingly submitting false evidence, I don't think it matters much.
@Teri_Kanefield actually, doesnt a lot of finger pointing sometimes ruin a case?
"it wasnt me it was him!" "no, it was him, not me!"
then again, if lots point at trump, rather than each other, then yes, that would be very good for prosecuting the instigator of all of this!
@Teri_Kanefield Does pointing a finger at the "President's attorneys" or the "President's campaign attorneys" vs. the President himself make a difference?
@Teri_Kanefield Eh, maybe. Pointing the finger in a legal argument that will never be seen by a jury doesn't necessarily show a rift. It just shows arguments in the alternative.
My understanding was this is just to get it to federal court and trying to say they were working for trump, therefore, federal? Not that they're accusing him but saying he was right because he was in the oval office?
@Teri_Kanefield
Like somebody in the Federal Government telling you to do something automatically makes you a part of the Federal Government.
Yeah right.
@Teri_Kanefield This is one of the fake electors that Fani Willis did NOT offer immunity? He seems to be attempting a defense that confesses to being part of the conspiracy. What's his best move from here?
@Teri_Kanefield next step, plea deal? cooperation with prosecution? He's already made the big jump of being 'disloyal' to Trump so he's already fired whatever gun Trump is pointed at him.
