I want to share my experience with an SUV Plug-In Hybrid (#PHEV) I now own.
IMO Is only worth it if:
you have a good place to plug it in at home & preferably a garage. Otherwise you might worry about cable stealing, vandalism, bad weather.
your usecase is the city and under 30 miles a day or less.
you are wiling to develop a new habit of plug it almost daily.
Whats the point of an PHEV if you cannot benefit the most of the "ev" part? So, if you're gonna get one, value highest ev range.
