Our full moon sweat lodge ceremony rounds lasted until 1:30AM. Just got home. Crashing in few minutes. I have para-dragonboating practice in the morning.
Fire foundation set, placement of rocks(ancestors) & medicine blessings atop. The medicine is ground sage, ground sweetgrass with some tree resin. It burns well & smells amazing.
My friend, Robert, never goes anywhere without bringing his Indigenous medicines & protections.
There's usually an eagle wings feather fan on dashboard too but it was put with sweat ceremonial items.
Elder Dave Bill, from #Tseycum#FirstNation on #Wsanec lands, creates all the regalia for their peoples. He carved this multiple spirit animals protection necklace, especially for me & gave me healing blessings 🙌

This #SweatLodge in #EastSooke has been used for #Indigenous#SweatTherapy ceremonies for about 14 years. It's on a huge forested, peaceful acreage. I heard ravens, eagles, hummingbirds, squirrels, frogs, multiple songbirds & loved the creek, close to sweat lodge. No photos allowed inside lodge during ceremony.
Long, intense #spiritual#healing experience. I felt tightness tensions released out of my body. My mind felt calm, more at peace. I'll be doing more sweats. Incredibly powerful healing.
