My husband encouraged me to get out for a walk while it isn't raining. He said he and Summer would take care of each other.
So I went to the wildlife refuge that is close to our house. It is only a two mile trail and would be quick.
Yesterday, the entrance was flooded, but today, it was just muddy.
There was lots of standing water in the flooded fields, but the trail was reasonably dry.
Lots of birds but too far away for photos.
It was cold and noisy. I couldn't get good photos of the birds, but I could hear them well enough. #Outside
