Uraael, (edited ) Fun with a broken Linux this morning. Apparently a Plymouth/SDDM update has rendered many Garuda Linux installs unable to boot beyond the "Loading Ramdisk" line at the very start of the boot process, not even allowing for command-line access. Snapshots don't load either; only entering Recovery Mode works.
The workaround for now is to edit grub to remove the SPLASH text from the start of the boot commands. This disables/skips Plymouth. Or installing Plymouth instead of Plymouth-git (don't forget to rebuild intramfs if you do this)(TIL -git versions of software are considersd bleeding edge; comparable to nightlies?).
A timely reminder that Linux can bork itself just as much as Windows can/does.
