@collabora@gfxstrand Awesome and congratulations! You did what NVIDIA would never do. While NVK is still pretty slow compared to the binary driver on my RTX3070 laptop, it doesn't have the horrible frame pacing, screen tearing, and even out-of-order frame display issues that the official driver has on Optimus laptops on Linux (or at least my particular laptop) which renders the official driver almost unusable. I'm really looking forward to NVK performance updates!
@CalcProgrammer1@collabora Performance will come in time. So far, I've been speed running to 1.3 conformance and DXVK support. We've spent a little time on performance but not much. We're currently pushing on Zink bug triage but it's already pretty close. Once that's done, my primary focus for a while will be performance.
