Question for my #Linux peeps:

My #ThinkPad A475 has a weird quirk where if the battery dies, the #touchpad won’t work in Linux and the ONLY way I can get it running again is to boot to a #Windows installer, where it suddenly works again and I can boot back into Linux.

This is obviously a software issue, so how do I get Linux to either query or reset the PS/2 bus and get my touchpad working again?
