It is found in grasslands and forests throughout the Kanto region and it's a combination of plant and animal. As it evolves, it becomes more fearsome and the plant blooms into an enormous flower in its final form
@sayomgwtf TL;DR each game has three starters you can choose from, but only two games (many got a third game later though, but it was more of a version 1.1).
Each game has some variation in which Pokémon appear, so to get all you need to trade between the games.
But you can choose any of the three starters. I’m suggesting they it would have been neater to have had three games, with the starter pre-chosen.
Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander were the starters for gen1:)
