I hear you! Due to their greed, bland games, push for people to use Ubisoft Connect and subscriptions; I am a screw Ubisoft kind of person these days. I have some of their old games, but I can't be arsed to own any of their newer titles unless it's a DEEP sale. Like less than 10 dollars after tax. Ubisoft is contributing to the enshittification of games (along with Capcom, EA, Activision Blizzard) so supporting them consistently is not going to happen as it's just me asking to be punished via their greed.
I will buy it a release day if it's good. Almost every AAA and AA Game has season Pass today so i don't have a problem with it.
And there is the standard edition too where the price is standard, too.
As for every Ubi Game the Ubi Hate train is very loud.
@the_white_wolf yes its f*ck Ubisoft forever in this household and that's never changing. From that horrible Ubisoft connect forcing me to login to play games, to hiding features (quests) behind $100+ price hikes (on games I don't even own)... and to recently just creating horrible games in general.
Regarding Connect:
I'm not a fan from this launcher, too but you need to be logged in in other Launchers as Steam too if you want to play Steam Games.
Regarding the Mission:
We don't how big the Mission will be. Most likely it will be a little side Mission which don't have story impact. If the Mission is big and story relevant then i agree that Ubi needs to critized for that.
But until the release we don't know for sure what this mission will be.
