@HailsandAles Looking forward to Melvins, High on Fire, My Dying Bride, and Bongripper. This is a great week! I'll also hit Dvne. Although it's not on the list, the band Circles Around the Sun have a new EP out. They're not metal, more of a psych, chill vibe. A blend of a few styles really.
@wendigo@HailsandAles haha yeah I have to keep the full lengths and EPs/singles separate for this reason too, since end of year lists are always just full lengths. Still wish I could sneak that Purulency one onto mine hahaha. I don't have any new EPs for this week but the new Last Retch EP 'Ergotism' comes out next week so I'll be listening to that for sure
@jake4480@HailsandAles Well, I've been fooling around with EQ on my headphones, so some albums are getting another listen or two. For example, I listened to Necrot for the 3rd or 4th time in total this morning. Listened to all of your recs from this week again. Hitting most of the new ones today. I'll probably chill for a bit after I hear the Melvins record. And I have some work to do...
@wendigo@HailsandAles it's so cool how they wrote the album, if you didn't hear, they like, recorded a bunch of drum tracks to songs and then Buzzo rewrote all new songs to those drums or something? Wild
