Can those of you that are tenured here in the #Fediverse tell me where this alarmist #EEE views have come from? Either this people are grossly misinformed/uninformed or they are disingenuous and that would bother me more. Like how if you believe in the #fediverse do you believe some corp can come and take it all over?
@damon There's a position running around that can be summed up as said corp and capital generally having a kind of metaphysical moral taint that corrupts anything it touches. The EEE thing seems to be an attempt at motivated reasoning backward from this conclusion.
It implodes pretty quickly under principled analysis, though.
