Great interview by @verge of @caseynewton re leaving #Substack. I wish more people would think about two big issues that they touched on. How their platform provides promotion and the power of payment infrastructure. They are both sources of "unfairness" imo. If everybody understood the former, people might respect the decentralized model more. Regarding the latter, it might focus our attention on providing a decentralized alternative for the #fediverse.
