I'll later check out the university store, because there's a 20% discount today and I need a new #UKY hoodie. The old one lasted 20 years, but it's really falling apart now.
@cliffwade Our program is still very new and small and my students are awesome, so no worries there.
That hoodie was high quality and pretty expensive when I got it. I always go for the embroidered logos, never printed. Unlike many people here in the US, we've always had front-loading washing machines, which are in general gentler to the laundry. So I guess that's a winning combination.
@JensHannemann Embroidered is certainly the best way to go. I try to do the same if at all possible.
I never realized that front loading washers are more gentle than top loading until the wife and I got our first one last year. It makes a world of difference.
Unfortunately I discovered that the 10 year old processor is woefully underpowered even just for NAS tasks: Poor guy sweats to keep pace with ZFS compression on large transfers, which limits the network speed to a bit just over 100MBps. Is not bad but transferring 8TB of data to the NAS has been... painful :D
