Helps people with disabilities create art. Some may not be able to draw, but with access to a powerful enough computer, you can create art without needing to draw.

It also helps people with horrible drawing skills create beautiful art.

This isn’t an argument, this is just me trying to understand. I feel there are accessibility features that allow artists to create art in spite of their disabilities. Even if the artist is blind, there are many forms of art they can pursue to express themselves. In my mind, AI only takes a prompt and imitates existing art, making a dishonest representation. I feel like if you have terrible drawing skills, making beautiful art by having software you didn’t design recreate art from examples you didn’t make without the artists’ permission means it isn’t your art.

You are absolutely right. Art is an expression of sentient beings. AI is just generating imitations based on its dataset. It’s not creating anything beyond an imitation.
