Another thing you don’t see often. A stumping were the keeper has to remove a stump from the ground with the ball in their hands because they dislodged the bails before they caught the ball.
@ianRobinson I think he was clean but showed the presence of mind to make sure. Pretty good okay under that sort of pressure, I thought. You certainly don’t see it very often.
@swisslet The Review showed the wicket was broken without the ball being in the gloves. I’m surprised the batter didn’t make more of an effort to get back in.
@ianRobinson he was cooked! (And thank you, I hadn’t seen that. I watched the review and the 3rd umpire seemed satisfied enough not to roll the tape on. If the batter had been making an effort, it could have been interesting. Or at least closer!)
