Alright, got 13 empty spice bottles, what am I missing?
Only things you actually use/recommend!
I didn't put black pepper, salt, Himalayan salt, or sugar in a bottle. Also not leaving the saffron in a pinch-able tin was probably a mistake but it looked better this way.
Also it had labels for Chinese Five Spice and Five Spice, which as far as I can tell are the same thing?? but the full name fit better with Italian Spice and Thai Spice so whatever
@SirTapTap would get more spice mixes, like some basic italian spice mix, salad spice mix, herbal salt. Spices you often use together you can pre-mix and it will save a lot of time. Also I hope you have a pepper grinder.
@simonparzer I've got 4, black pepper, a mix of coriander, fennel, white and black peppercorns, Himalayan salt, and not sure what to put in the fourth.
@SirTapTap I do a ton of baking, but maybe you don't? I'd add cinnamon, cardamon, cloves, nutmeg, maybe allspice?
(also low key/high key jealous of your organization, mine is a disaster of mismatched jars and random baggies from the bulk section)
Also: smoked paprika, you will not be disappointed.
@SRLevine The spice rack has been handy, just got the magnetic one since the 20 slot rotating one I got wasn't cutting it. Not enough jars, and didn't really display that well esp if I needed 2 (or 3 at this rate).
@Sleuthless got onion powder coming .. Or I forgot. Thought I had it already. Others sound good. Don't make desserts much but I got an ice cream machine and baking I should learn eventually
