Panel three: Closer in on the birds perched on the power lines. Caption box: "DON'T LEAVE."
The Last Band On Earth, page 2. Three panels. Panel one: a shot of a slightly postmodern-looking house, with a van parked out front. Several strange leggy-looking trees can be seen in the background. Caption boxes: "FRIENDS. HOME. THINGS. ALL HERE." Panel two: An open window inside the house. Caption box: "WHY LEAVE? WHY RISK CHANGE?" Panel three: a shot of several pairs of shoes piled on the floor, at the front door of the house. Caption box: "RISK DEATH?"
The Last Band On Earth, page 3. Seven panels. Caption boxes stretch across several panels here, so I'll describe accordingly - Panel 1: Coats hanging at the front door of the house from page 2. Panel 2: Traveling further into the house - an end table with a phone on top, and a card table with a laptop set up on it. Panel 3: what looks like a living room with a TV, a large picture window, and an open guitar case. Caption boxes: "US. WE NEVER LIE. ALWAYS ARE TRUE." Panel 4: debris on the floor of the living room, including a notebook, empty drink cans, a snare drum, and a distortion pedal. Panel 5: more of the same - some open magazines, another distortion pedal, retro video game controllers, and the open guitar case again from a different angle. Panel 6: an ashtray on the windowsill with a lit cigarette sits next to a drinking glass, with a small amount of liquid still inside. Caption boxes: "TRUTH IS HERE, WITH US." Panel 7: pulling out to reveal the whole living room. there's not much furniture apart from the card table, a couch, and a small beanbag chair in the corner next to the TV.
