@msquebanh I live in New Hampshire USA and I recently learned that at some point in the past five years it became illegal for landlords to refuse to renew a lease just because.

I remember my mom got evicted years ago because her landlord decided not to renew the lease because her mental illness made her annoying to them.

I was delighted to learn that that rule had changed, because I have had to become annoying to my landlord and I was worrying that I would end up homeless this summer because of it.

@maggiejk Here in BC, no fault evictions are causing more formerly longtime renters to become homeless. It's affected the vulnerable populations the most. BC has more landlords abusing no fault evictions than any other place in Canada. We need government to deal with this immediately.
