@CindySue@bookstodon stuff from the new shelf at my local public library:
currently reading The New Couple in 5B
(so far so good, I can see what's coming but in a fun way)
@CindySue@bookstodon I'm reading The Other Valley. The premise is that the town to the East of you is 20 years ahead of you, and the town to the West of you is 20 years behind. This repeats in many towns in each direction, otherwise exactly alike, each town set in its own valley. I like the creepy factor.
@CindySue@bookstodon Finished “Death By Water” by Kerry Greenwood and am about to start “”The Anthropocene Reviewed” by John Green. My book club is reading the John Green one this month and it looks good.
@luciedigitalni@CindySue@bookstodon semi off-topic, but I wish one or both of the authors named David Mitchell would use a middle initial. I was pretty sure which one you were reading, but I wonder why each refuses to distinguish himself from the other? And they're both British, so even that distinction doesn't help.
@kimlockhartga@CindySue@bookstodon Google/Wikipedia consider one to be (comedian) and the other to be (author) so I suppose that's what we have to use. Perhaps they should consider the example set by Iain (M.) Banks
@CindySue Oh don’t be! Try the first one. I am not a fantasy reader ( nor are series my thing) at all, so this was stepping out of my norm. My SIL told me to give it a hundred pages. I still was thinking, yeah, ok. Well I’m almost done with book 2.
