@noellemitchell It's like this: every author puts personal energy into the books they write; when you stack up books before you read them, the energy multiplies (like linking together a series of batteries, or stacking magnets); that multiplied energy attracts other unlinked books and draws them in.
So, basically, it's not you, it's the books themselves. And the better books you already have, the stronger their attractive energy.
@noellemitchell I have literally a few thousand in my TBR pile, between my shelves and my Kindle. Life's too short not to buy books. And writers need the support. Go nuts!
