@PixelBandits yeah, that’s meaningless. PS vs XBox, console vs PC, android vs iPhone. The way people are getting involved into that are natural strive to be better than everyone else, sense of community through similarities and exclusivity policy of the platforms. While platforms are private the corporations will benefit from people “choosing the side”, though that’s what we should avoid doing

@PixelBandits 100% agreeing with what @glukozavr wrote. Most of those feuds are fueled by the very company that sells the said item.

It's not openly public anymore (anyone remember those Mac vs PC videos?) but the feeling is still here, often enlarged by media.

TBH I just wish that Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo would get together, pool resources and build X-Play. With a handheld counterpart.

Imagine the bright future we could have if they stopped fighting and worked together!

@PixelBandits @thegamerstavern well they have different approaches and different audience… there is not necessarily on fits all platform, it’s fine they are different (also capitalism doesn’t work like that). I would prefer them to compete through self improvement, rather than competition limitation like making exclusive titles and other sharky strategies. Buying studios to privilege their platforms for instance
