These three wonderful kids are visiting #WhiteHouse today. Kira, Oleksandr, and Ilya all lost their parents in Russian attacks on #Ukrainians. Kira’s father was killed, Ilya’s mother died in his little arms, and Oleksandr’s mother was disappeared. Then the Russians tried to kidnap them. Their grandparents rescued them before they could be transported to one of 80 reeducation camps to be raised as Russians.
Reports from 700,000 to at least 300,000 kids have been stolen from #Ukraine. Russia is trying to steal Ukraine’s future. In the occupied territory the true number is not fully known yet- it could be in the millions.
