SynthDIY resources megathread

Let's liven things up a little. I believe a lot of us have some useful and interesting SynthDIY-related links in our bookmarks. So let's share them!

Let's try to stick to this rules to keep things tidy and readable:

  • First level of comments is for links, the discussion can go under them.
  • One link per comment, and please include some description.
  • No links to single projects, please. Better share it as a separate post. Collections of projects are ok.

Have you tried building any of these? Bassline looks tempting

@PinkDuck I built my mixer on stripboard using their schematic. Baseline is definitely on my list, too. My current goal is to learn how to mill circuit boards, and Bassline is way too complex to tackle right now.

I've checked the BOM and it seems like Bassline has some unobtanium parts in it :( but I'll still try to pull it off when I finish my current projects

Hagiwo has tons of cool eurorack modules projects. The blog is in japanese, but online translators can help, and the schematics should be easy enough to understand even without text

SynthDIY WIKi has a looot of info starting from some basics on how electronic components work to synth design articles (obviously) to some books recommendations on related topics. The navigation is a little bit convoluted on this website, it's probably easier to look through All Articles page to find something you need

I'll start with some more obvious ones :)

Moritz Klein's youtube channel has a lot of very educational videos on how various synth modules work and how to build them
