My Yashica Mat 124G, as good as new. With a new bright screen.
I think he pretty much rebuilt the camera! He also installed a new bright screen for me.
Service is a little challenging as he doesn’t really speak English or write emails. But if you send him a package with info and your PayPal address, he’ll get it done!
One of the reasons I love film cameras so much: if you take care of them, they last forever (most of them). and they give me some way of connecting with people who have a wealth of knowledge.

Whenever you report one of these stops on your newish-film-photographer's journey, I feel neurons which used to deal with this stuff decades ago trying to turn the lights back on. (Flickering fluorescent lights in an abandoned factory.) It's fun.
Trying to remember... do the bright screens use microlenses instead of a plain old matte groundglass?
@skinnylatte I have a soft spot for Yashica TLRs; it’s great to know that someone is still able to keep them alive and clicking. (My first camera was my dad’s Yashica LM, still in working order but now occupying a place of honor on a shelf in the living room in retirement).
