My #Babylon5 Blu-Ray watch reached Confessions and Lamentations (aka the plague ep) today. I've watched it a few times since the start of the pandemic and it does not get easier :-| (screen grabs NOT from Blu-Ray; it looks WAY better but I don't have a player for my PC so can't screenshot :P )

@jennzycos yeaaa I did consider putting some less depressing ones but decided to put these ones because it was such a recent post AND it was the one in which I lamented my inability to take Blu-Ray screenshots, which has now been fixed :P
@Lotje Ohhh man, that’s a hell of an episode.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an episode in a TV that had that kind of WEIGHT either.
The Markab go from being a presence on the station for over a year to just GONE.
@Lotje Also I was perusing JMS’ notes from the Lurkers guide for that episode (i had spaced on the Markabs name) and hit this:
“The whole point of the episode is NOT political; it says that if you make a disease political on either side, you're gonna die”
That episode is also immediately followed by Divided Loyalties, so it feels like the show is just relentlessly punching you in the face at this point. (spoiler in image) #Babylon5
