** The two pilots are both local Ventura County residents, and I knew Mr. Pettingill very well (having hiked and backpacked many times with him when he was in Scouting with my son.) 🙏 Will pass on any fundraisers/etc. for the family.

@Intel_Earth Thanks for asking. Doing okay personally (this goes into the class of "nothing I could have done which would have changed the outcome, therefore, should not stress about it"), but obviously feeling greatly for the family. Quite a tragedy.
