Enough coding for the evening. Did some #scribbles stuff, and also added something to the homepage [https://scribbles.page/home]... random blogs (if they're part of Explore). Just grabs 8 random blogs each time you reload. Fun. More to do here. So gonna leave it forever now 😋

Not 100% confirmed yet, however the way my Apple developer account is set up, and tied to my personal account, and with the changes they are requesting for “DSA” compliance, it might be impossible, without a new dev account, to update my apps going forward. Kinda sucks.

Mr @vincentritter has done such a good job with Scribbles I want to use it more. I created a secondary ‘The Dent Extra’ site to share short form posts, gaming stuff and other random things as I didn’t want to flood people’s RSS feeds if they’re been kind enough to follow. I don’t think I have that many subscribers though, so may just start posting anything and everything to the main site and just not worry about it. It would be good if there was a way to block some posts showing in an RSS feed.

Coffee has been had. Now you have a Reply by Email option in Scribbles. Enter an email you're comfortable sharing and a link will appear at the bottom of each post, with a subject pre-filled.

Will flesh this out more as time goes. You can also find an override for the text that appears ✌️ https://scribbles.page

Today I bought my daughter her first iPhone (and her first phone, because both girls have been nagging me). Now I need a stiff drink after spending the money.

Hopefully she likes it in pink.

I’m extremely lucky and incredibly fortunate, and I’m am forever grateful that I managed to buy it today.

Gotta say, it feels nice to hold.

Small itch I wanted to scratch for Scribbles... and live now, with a post coming later today or tomorrow... you can export any of your published posts straight to HTML or Markdown. Just go to your post and you'll see a new "archive" button in the header. Basic for now with nice filenames.

@bjhess — just a thought on Letterbird as I'm not in front of my machine, but it would be cool if you supported a "reply to this post" where I could pass in a "subject" and people could leave a comment (but better and more private of course).
