From Ubuntu 24.04 LTS onwards, packages and applications built on 64-bit platforms for #Ubuntu will include frame pointers by default, making access to streamlined performance profiling the new default.

This was made possible through our collaboration with Polar Signals with a shared goal to improve the performance of applications deployed worldwide.

🔒 Get ready for a smoother, more secure experience and say goodbye to manual passphrases during boot!

The secret used to decrypt the encrypted data will be protected by a TPM and recovered automatically only by early boot software that is authorised to access the data.
