For model calibration (esp via logistic regression), does anyone know of a statistical investigation of the properties of the resulting calibrated predictions?

IOW, if we use predictions from one model as inputs to another model, do we know the probability distribution of the final predictions?

A new version of the #rstats probably package is on CRAN. A minor update with a bug fix and under-the-hood changes for the upcoming tune version.

But there’s finally a hex logo (thanks to Edgar Ruiz) so we have that going for us. Which is nice.

A new version of the #rstats brulee package.

brulee is a high-level torch interface to basic models such as linear regression or feedforward neural networks.

There were few changes, most notably more neural network activation functions.

I don't really have much to say than other this (so nobody @ me)...

For some citizenship documentation, I wrote up an analysis of how much Yihui’s work is used in our community. I can’t find those results but here is an underestimate of downloads of his packages that I can list off the top of my head. Those units are crazy.

He’s great! You’ll be lucky to work with him if you get the chance.
