We try to get the apps which blatantly violate our license removed from the app stores quickly to prevent damages to potential users.
I guess that the vast majority of the fediverse audience is already using one of the official ways to get NewPipe. Nevertheless, here is the reminder to get NewPipe from one of these sources:

Scammers try to make money of NewPipe by uploading illegally modified copies of NewPipe to multiple app stores, including Google Play and Apple's App store.
The official NewPipe app does not contain ads, and it does not offer a subscription to unlock features or block ads. Once you've paid those people, your money is likely gone.
