what are lightweight (!) browsers for #linux that aren’t as bloated as firefox but still offer full functionality, adblocking, font and zoom settings, easy visual access to alt text? looking for something on the gtk side.
it’s for my shitty old laptop, where opening firefox takes a solid 15 seconds and opening or closing a tab has a 50/50 chance to make the whole thing unusable for a full minute. i don’t know why this is so bad. it’s a 2015 laptop and so much more powerful than the T20 i had in fucking 2005, and yet so much slower because the software has gotten so wasteful while still offering pretty much the exact same functionality, i really don’t get it
