Software engineering doesn't have a lot of occupational hazards, but repetitive stress injury is one of them. I've had my share of pain from RSI, and it ultimately led me to make a portable, fairly ergonomic setup, so I can retain mobility while also minimizing my risk of flareups of pain.

How do you all deal with ergonomics when you're away from your desk? (And you do think about ergonomics at your desk, right?)

Today is May 4. Many know it as Star Wars day, but to me it’s forever associated with the May 4 massacre on Kent State’s campus. It feels more relevant than ever.

The song “Ohio” is about these events and is a fantastic song, too. Worth a listen today.
