@shyra can't find my txt with the specific command but i use ffmpeg with a command very similar to what they mention here https://www.paulox.net/2023/05/03/quickly_resize-a-video-with-ffmpeg-for-mastodon/

but handbrake and the "Social 25MB 30 seconds 1080p60" setting also work

but i rarely can upload directly from my phone, some videos work some don't, I'm not completely sure what it is.

@tk i think the agp era i lived it mostly on a mac g4, flashing radeon cards and covering the pins with scotch tape so it would get recognized and weird stuff like that hah

@paulrickards ah that's disappointing, but it's good that they are not shorted, at least in the photo it looks like they are properly connected so that's good.

i'm still wondering were the issue could be then, maybe there is a trace damaged somewhere

@paulrickards ah but seeing it like that, yeah it looks like it was the screen, I was suspecting some sort of contrast regulation issue but maybe the panel itself seems to be damaged, but it's a really weird failure pattern
