Realized today that I did not punch out the drain holes in the pot for my peace lily. I have fixed...the glitch, but wow was there a lot of water trapped in there. Sorry, ol' plant! I hope you recover quickly.

Grrrr... my laptop suspending on lid close and didn't resume nicely (it came back up, but the keyboard was all kinds of messed up).

So, of course I need to try and isolate and file a bug on the suspend issue, but man I LOATHE suspend on lid close. I'm often just going to get coffee, or moving to another room, and I don't want my laptop to suspend.

(Of course I disabled it now in logind.conf, as there doesn't seem to be a gnome pref to disable this anymore).

While everyone has been talking about 's backdoor I've been working on a patch for an AlmaLinux kernel vulnerability (CVE-2024-1086) that has yet to release a fix for (though stream is patched). It's quite a nasty privilege escalation vulnerability so I suggest updating ASAP.
